1992年生まれ、大阪府高槻市出身。京都市立芸術大学音楽学部作曲専攻卒業、同大学院作曲専攻修了。卒業時に京都音楽協会賞、修了時に大学院市長賞を受賞。これまでに作曲を、岡田加津子、中村典子、服部浩行、前田守一、Haris Kittosの各氏に師事。

音楽と演劇性の関わりを創作の柱とし、 オペラをはじめとする舞台音楽を中心に作曲活動を行う。主な舞台作品は、ミュージカル「黒ノ香」(2013)、歌劇「山科閑居」(2016-2017)など。2018年6月、青山音楽財団の助成を受けて個展「舞台・物語を彩る音楽」を開催。

2014年9月より4か月間、英国王立音楽大学へ交換留学。2014年度(公財)青山財団、2016年度戸部眞紀財団、各奨学生。​

Takuro Kurokawa (1992-) was born in Osaka, Japan. He studied composition at Kyoto City University of Arts (Japan) with Shuichi Maeda, Noriko Nakamura and Kazuko Okada. In 2014, he studied at Royal College of Music (London) as an exchange student with Haris Kittos.

Kurokawa has been interested in theatre music and enormously keen on operas. He has composed one musical Kuro-no-Ka (2 acts, 2013) and 2 operas, Yamashina Kankyo (2 acts, 2016/17) and Kama-bara (1 act, 2018). All of these works are based on Japanese literature and traditional plays.

In 2018, supported by Aoyama Music Foundation, Kurokawa held a concert "Music embellishing dramas and stories", which consists of his own works.
